Day one of three hundred sixty-five.

It is finally here! Happy birthday to me! Day one of one of the greatest adventures. 20 years old today. One year closer to APU. All thanks to Grant Heinlein for inspiring me to finally accomplish this. Now it is time to put my creativity to the test and push my limits with photography. I know it will be tough, but I have already surrounded myself with people who will not let me fail. I am devoting this year to making photography a complete act of worship. Here goes nothing.

Today’s photo(s) are based around Acts 2:42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

This kind of just came together really fast so it’s nothing too special, which is great way to start this off.. Hah. It is just very basic, but I have to start somewhere, right? So here is to a year of devotion to making photography a complete act of worship. Those of you who know me well know that my favorite verse is 1 Peter 4:10 and now I can finally live it out. Although I have said I have been living by it, this year will really prove it.

Mike Hranica

My plan was to do one big Warped Tour blog, but like many of the photographers I know, I still have yet to edit all of the photos I want to. I'm just editing them at random times when I have time to edit them. School has started once again so I won't have as much free time.
For those of you who don't know, I had the opportunity to shoot Warped again this year... not only in San Diego, but also Carson. I spent most of the San Diego date running between stages to make sure to shoot every band that All Access Rock needed/wanted to cover. It was successful day to say the least. The next day was much more laid-back. The only band I HAD to photograph was The Devil Wears Prada. So I made it a priority. I had seen all the photographs of Mike from other photographer friends of mine, and I knew I had to photograph them. It is one of the best experiences ever. Thankfully there weren't as many photographers in Carson as there were in San Diego so I had space to move around and breathe, but still is was ridiculous in the pit. The Devil Wears Prada is on band to photograph for sure. Mike can make any photograph look good.
